Dragged back again

I've been dragged back there again.

Do you understand now?

All I can see in people's eyes

Is the same guilt 

Shame

Over and over again

Because they know

And I know...

They say that who loves quickly

forgets quickly

What about the rest?

Come away with me...Would you?

Because people are who they are

And because time is what it is...

I would like you to come away with me.

A couple of seconds, that mean all eternity

Sometimes...

I feel connected to that everything

I can feel every particle

Every feeling out there

Every being

I can see their light and darkness

And that's when my soul awakens

For a couple of seconds.

Looking ahead, towards the sky... and thinking back

"Men are wolves to men". 

For some reason, this saying makes me feel young. Maybe a bit too young.

Trust, high expectations... all of it, everything you want... are on the balance.

We live in a world where being fair is a weakness, and where being strong is measured by the number of people you stepped on and left behind... people you've beaten.
